Advantages of Win2k platform for AutoCad

Can you tell me the advantages of using AutoCad under Windows 2000 Professional?
I assume you are asking this because you are currently using Windows 9x/Me to run AutoCad. Simply stated, the benefits are legion to moving to Windows 2000! First off Windows 2000 is much more stable and robust than Windows 9x/Me. Secondly, for large programs like AutoCad, the Windows 2000 virtual memory management system is far superior to Windows 9x/Me, so you can load larger files faster. Keep in mind that Windows 2000 does require more system resources. However, with memory being just this side of free, (I just bought a 256MB DIMM for my laptop for less than $140.00USD and desktop memory is far cheaper) there's no excuse not to upgrade. In my opinion, there's no reason to run Windows 9x/Me in a business environment.
