Alternatives for Access Runtime in XP Office

I have Access 97 deployed to runtime only users. I'm told there is no Access Runtime in XP Office. What are my alternatives? I do not want the runtime users to be able to modify my Access mdb.
There does in fact appear to be an Access 2002 Runtime; an update for it is available here, for instance: http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/xp/journ/art1001.htm. If you are thinking about using Access 97 databases with the Access 2002 runtime, the database can be converted to Access 2002 and still preserve all of its original functionality.
