Assigning Documents and Settings folder to new partition

Can I assign the 'Documents and Settings' folder to another partition -- for example, D: -- and still keep one user from accessing other users' files?
Yes. There are two requirements for doing this without resorting to unruly hacks, though. The first is that you must change the location of the Documents and Settings folder during Windows XP Setup by using an answer file. In particular, you should use the ProfilesDir setting in the [GuiUnattended] section of the answer file. Second, make sure you format the second volume using NTFS.
