Can I bypass passwords when accessing my server from my workstation?
My workstation is Windows 98 and my server is Windows 2000. When I try to access my server from my workstation, I have to supply a password in order to make a connection to my server. But I forgot that password. Is there anyway I can bypass this?
No. You will need to use an administrator account on the Windows server and reset the password on the account you are using from Windows 98. Windows server 2000 requires authentication in order to access it. Windows 98 does not.
