Can I delete pagefiles to save space on C drive?
My server's C drive is running out of space because the pagefile is continuously occupying space. I'm using Windows NT. Also, my other drive F has a pagefile size of almost 2GB. This is where my system's database is located. What can I do with the pagefiles? If I delete them, will that affect the performance of the server with respect to the system that I'm using? By the way, I'm using Solomon IV for Windows (ERP). Thanks, and have a nice day!
You can move the pagefile to any drive on your server, or split it among different drive letters. If you set the pagefile size to 0 on your C drive, your machine will no longer write a log file if it reboots unexpectedly, but it will save space if your C drive is low.
