Windows 2000 can share any type of network connection, including dial-up and Ethernet (typically DSL and cable modems connect to a computer using Ethernet).
To review the process for enabling Internet Connection Sharing in
Windows 2000:
1) From the Start menu, select Settings, anc click Network And Dial-Up
Connections.
2) Right-click on the network connection you want to share and select
Properties. It will probably be named Local Area Connection.
3) Select the Sharing tab, check the Enable Internet Connection Sharing
Checkbox, and click OK. Answer any prompts.
