This seems very strange. I do get a message saying that the folder cannot be displayed and possible causes are low memory or low disk space. I have 768 MB of RAM and 27GB of free disk space. I can't find anything about this in my help sections. Have you run into this before? Do you think I should use another e-mail program?
The first step in troubleshooting any application problem is to isolate the application. In this case, I would start by temporarily uninstalling the Norton Internet Security Center and see if it resolves the issue. If the problem still exists, backup your Outlook Express mail files and try reinstalling Outlook Express using your Operating System installation CD. If your PC is managed by a larger organization that manages your e-mail settings, check to see where your e-mail folders are stored. It is possible that your folders are being stored on the network, and you've reached the space quota on the mail server.
