Controlling sound on client computers

How do you turn off sounds on client computers through a group policy in Windows 2000 server?
One way to do this would be to use GPO or logon scripts to push out a Registry setting that disables the sound card device driver. However, this would require some work on your part to determine which Registry key to edit.
