Do my customer's C: and D: drives need to have their own individual pagefiles?

I have a customer with two hard drives on his PC, and they are both split into two partitions. C: and D: are rather small. He has 640MB RAM and would like to set up a large pagefile.sys on E:. Do C: and D: both have to have a pagefile? He only wants a pagefile on E:.
You do not need to maintain a pagefile on each drive letter. However, if you remove the pagefile from the system drive, the OS will not be able to record debugging information, and you will not have access to Startup & Recovery functions.
