Does SUS have a feature to automatically update mssecure.xml file?

I've installed the SMS feature pack and did a software and hardware inventory. Everything seems to have worked out, and I can see the different hotfixes needed by the various clients. It seems that the feature pack SUS is "stuck" on the mssecure.xml listing that was first downloaded when the feature pack was installed. I'm not getting any newer hotfix listings showing when I do my software update reviews in the Web interface. Doesn't SUS have a feature to automatically update the mssecure.xml file? Or do I have to keep reinstalling the security pack update feature to update this file? Am I missing some configuration setting? I couldn't find any further word on how to enable the updating of this database in the SMS SUS user guide or other TechNet articles.
You may have a filtering issue with your connection to the Internet. The XML file is included in the .cab file that is downloaded from Microsoft. This .cab file is downloaded on a schedule. Read through the SMS Feature Pack Sync Tool Teardown A to Z to get a better understanding of how this works, and for some troubleshooting steps.
