Elective synchronization of patches

I have slow links in my infrastructure. I would like to know if SUS 2.0 will support an elective synchronization of the patches?
I'm not sure what you mean by elective synchronization, but you can minimize impact by choosing a good schedule for your clients to check the server and download the updates. The client schedules should be staggered a bit anyway. And, SUS utilizes BITS technology, which is bandwidth sensitive on its own.
