Finding the GUID when joining a computer to a Win2k domain

How does one find the globally unique identifier (GUID) when trying to join a computer to a domain in Win2k? Win2k Active Directory usually asks you to enter the GUID of the workstation you want to join to the domain. Can you help please?
You're prestaging the computer object. That's great, because it gives you control over the object's container. But you only need to specify the computer's GUID if you're using Remote Installation Service (RIS). The GUID is how RIS matches the computer to the object. Unless you're using RIS or plan to use RIS in the future, you can skip the GUID.
