Getting ODBC error from IIS 5.1 on XP

I am running Internet Information Server 5.1 (IIS) on Windows XP Professional and am getting the following errors:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005) [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.
There are a few different possible causes. A quick search turns these up these possibilities:
