Getting "entry too long" error when editing a domain GPO

Hi Laura. I'm getting this message when pressing Edit at one of the domain group policy objects (GPOs) on the server: "The following entry in the [strings] section is too long and has been truncated." I also get it on a workstation for the local GPOs. Is something corrupted?
Try performing an offline defragmentation of the Active Directory database using the steps found in MS KB article Performing Offline Defragmentation of the Active Directory Database. It sounds as though you're having some corruption issues. (Make sure you perform a backup or three before you perform the steps outlined in the KB article.)
