Getting error message when using IE 6 to get to the Web

I have Win2k, SP4 and IE 6. Every time I log on the Internet with IE 6 I get an svchost.exe error message. I also cannot copy/cut/paste from my desktop to the C root or move icons or folders on my desktop.
My first hunch is to think that you have a virus or ad-ware on your computer. I recommend that you scan your computer for viruses thoroughly. Also, see http://www.lavasoftusa.com for ad-ware and spyware scanning help.
