How can I auto-log off Win2k users after a certain amount of idle time?
I am migrating a small non-profit organization to a server/client environment. I want make sure the users are automatically logged off their Win2k workstations after a certain amount of idle time. How is this done? I feel like I'm missing a basic concept here, but if you can direct me to the right place, I'd appreciate it.
You're not missing a thing. This functionality isn't available in the box. The Windows 2000 resource kit comes with a tool called Winexit.scr, though. It's a screen saver that automatically logs the user off after a given period of time.
