How can I edit 24-bit (TRUE COLOR) color bitmap from MS Visual Studio?

Could you tell me how to edit 24-bit (TRUE COLOR) color bitmap from MS-Visual Studio? Thanks.
I've often wondered this myself! It looks like Visual Studio can only handle 16-bit bitmaps so you'll need to use either PaintBrush or a third party editor.
