How can I perform backups without having to manually manage the media?

I support a four-workstation church domain with a Windows 2000 Server running RAID 5. I would like to do a full backup of the server every night by having the church secretary change the tape every morning. However, since I have no free space, I have to go in every weekend, de-allocate and prepare the tape. Is there any way to get around this so I don't have to go through this routine every weekend? I can then set a script on the server to e-mail the logs to me every day for review, deallocate and prepare the tape that way.
