How can I set up Group Policy to send users hot fixes so I don't have to apply them manually?
All of my users use W2K Pro. I'd like to apply all Microsoft security hot fixes and patches to all workstations. How would I set up Group Policy to send these fixes to these computers without going to each one and apply them manually?
If the hotfix is done in an .msi format, you maybe be able to deploy them that way. In general, I find that scripting an installation is the most reliable manner to deploying hotfixes. You can then leverage Group Policy to deploy your scripts on log on or log off.
