How can a user have two different IP addresses on the same laptop?

I have a laptop running Windows 2000 and I need the user to be able to use it at work and at home without any administrative privileges -- i.e., he'll have two different IP addresses on his laptop. Is it possible? And if so, how?
Don't configure static IP addresses. Assign IP addresses to the laptop PC using DHCP at the office, and allow the user's broadband provider to assign the IP address when the user is at home.
