How do I configure Win2k machines to automatically power off?

Hi, Jerry. We just migrated from Windows 98 to 2000. Some PCs that used to power themselves down prior to the migration now only give the "It is now safe to shut down your computer" message. Is there anything we can do to enable the PCs to shut themselves off?
Hi. Windows 2000 gives this message on computers that don't have ACPI-compliant BIOSes, typically older computers. My first suggestion is to update your computers' BIOS to the latest version. My second is to update your power-management device drivers using the latest version from the manufacturer.
