How do I disable the network admin share from a Win2k machine?

How do I disable the network administrative share permanently from a Windows 2000 computer? After removing "c$" and "d$" shares, it still comes back after restarting the computer.
Try changing the registry value AutoShareWks to 0 in the subkey HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesLanManServerParameters. The value for servers is AutoShareServer.
