Is it possible to get a MCSD Certification studying from MS Press Books?

Is it possible to get my MCSD Certification studying mainly from MS Press Books? I have read many bad reviews about MS Press Books, yet they are the only books available in my city for MCSD. What do you recommend I do?
If the MS press books are all you can get, then you should probably use them. You might also want to investigate online class offerings (presumably you do have Internet access, so you might be able to supplement these materials that way). Also, I'd recommend obtaining good practice tests for the MCSD exams from a reputable practice test vendor such as Transcender, Boson, MeasureUp, Selftest Software, and others: these will also help you get ready to take the real thing, and all can be purchased online.
