Is there a way to identify user IDs via IP addresses within a network?

I was wondering if there's a way to identify user IDs via IP addresses within a network. I have tried nbtstat -a to get the information, and I can only see the computer name and domain. Is there a way to get the user ID via IP address?
No, there's no good way to do this if you can't authenticate to the target system.
