Is there a way to run Access automatically and without user logon?

How can I have a Windows-based application (Access) start up automatically and run some data acquisition/reporting functions without having the machine it runs on be logged on with a username?
Unfortunately, MS Access requires an interactive login to run correctly. Consider converting the application to a Visual Basic .exe file and using the SRVANY Resource Kit utility to convert the .exe to a service, allowing it to run without user logon or intervention.
