No permission to change password error

No permission to change password error

Jerry Honeycutt

We have an NT4 domain with some Win2k Pro clients. Every so often, some, but not all, Win2k clients get an error message of "you do not have permission to change your password." Have you seen this problem before? It does not affect any of the NT4 workstations.
I feel your pain. This is a known problem, and I don't have a solution for you. I dug around UseNet and the Microsoft Knowledge Base without finding anything either.
