Problems accessing host running XP on home network

I have set up a home network using Network Wizard and two computers. I can access the client fine, but can't access the host. I'm running XP on the host and ME on the client. If I look at the C drive properties, the shared name for drive C is C$. I have set no passwords on either computer. ICS works ok. Please help.
In situations like this there needs to be valid login credentials on both the host and client. Create an account with the same username and password on both the host and client machines, then log in on the client machine with those credentials. Default shares (the C$ share) do not work unless you are authenticated.
