Pushing out Windows updates to client PCs

How do I make SUS push out Windows updates to client PCs? I have synchronized my server with the Windows Update server(s), approved the updates I want to push out, created a policy in ADUC and ordered the "push out" to start at a specific time. The client PCs have the Windows Update-icon greyed-out in C.Panel suggesting that they are now getting their updates from AD but when the scheduled time comes around, nothing happens! Any advice?
SUS doesn't push the updates, the client contacts the server and pulls them down. See the following resources for troubleshooting the client downloads:
