Should we switch to Microsoft Operations Manager?

We have a mixed Microsoft environment, split between NT4 and Win2k. We have NetIQ installed and are looking at MOM. First, what makes MOM a better product for us? Why should I even consider migrating to MOM and not staying with NetIQ?
Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) was actually source-licensed from NetIQ in November of 2000, and is Microsoft's bid to move more fully into the Operations Management niche. The principle advantage of using MOM is that, in a purely Micro-centric environment, a Microsoft management suite should theoretically provide the most up-to-date and useful integrations and add-on's to the existing OS structures and capabilities. However, as with all products, YMMV. (Your Mileage May Vary.)

If after deploying MOM in a test environment you find that NetIQ meets your needs more fully, or you just plain LIKE it better, it remains a wonderful product and a perfectly viable choice in the Operations Management Suite software arena.
