Sometimes when our Windows 2000 Pro is shutting down it locks up for a few minutes. Other times it shuts down instantly. Is there any way to streamline the shutdown process without having to "end task" on running processes?
See Knowledge Base article 315409 at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315409 for help with troubleshooting shutdown problems in Windows 2000.
