Users getting disconnected at least 10 times per day
I am running TS on Windows 2000 Advanced Server on 512K T1. Our clients are using DSL/cable with Netgear FVS318 VPN Firewall along with software policy for connect. Users are getting disconnected at least 10 times per day. I have tried everything. The system can either be idle or the users can be in the middle of data input and TS session freezes. Any suggestions?
I'd check to see if this is a problem for people accessing the Terminal Server from the LAN. If it's not, time to check with the DSL company to see if there's a problem with the connection. Your description of "freezes" confuses me slightly, though: are you talking about the terminal sessions just disconnecting, or is the Terminal Server itself locking up?
