The disk cleanup utility included in Windows isn't very good, but it'll do the job in lieu of nothing else. The catalog files for the content indexer are usually disposable unless you're using Windows's built-in full-text search feature. Temporary files are almost always disposable (especially temp files created by IE), and anything with a tilde in front of it (such as ~TRE.DOC) can also be done away with.
