For example, if I take exam 70-210 then I will be a MCP. After that, if I take the three
other exams for MCSA, then I will be granted the MCSA. Since some of the exams
overlap with MCSE, then can I simply take the other exams and get a MCSE?
Alternatively, is there any way that I can upgrade from the MCSA to the MCSE
or do I need to take the core modules for MCSE again?
If you take the following exams for the MCSA, all of them will apply to
the
MCSE:
1. 70-210 Windows 2000 Professional (also meets a core MCSE requirement)
2. 70-215 Windows 2000 Server (also meets a core MCSE requirement)
3. 70-218 Managing a Windows 2000 Network (meets an MCSE elective
requirement)
4. 70-216 Implementing and Administering a Windows 2000 Network
Infrastructure
(meets MCSA elective and core Design MCSE requirements)
Then, you can simply finish your MCSE by taking 70-216 and 70-217, plus one
more eligible elective of your choice.
