Why can't I right click my folders and use sharing or properties?

Why can't I right click my folders and use sharing or properties?

Why is it that when I install IIS on Windows 2000 Pro or Server I can not right click my folders, or drive for that matter, and use sharing or properties? When I remove Web server and its associated programs, then and only then, will my properties box or sharing box show up.
That indeed is a very unusual problem! I would make sure that you are logged into the computer with an account that is a member of the local administrator's group.
