Is this a USB or PS/2 keyboard? If it's USB, there may be a problem with your USB controller; if PS/2, you may want to check and see if there is a BIOS update for your computer which may resolve such problems.

If I reboot XP Pro I lose the keyboard. I have to cold boot the system. Any ideas? All drivers and updates are installed.
