Win2k Pro shows error when I add standard TCP/IP port

I am trying to set up my Windows 2000 Pro workstation to print to a copy machine on my network, but when I try to add a standard TCP/IP port in the Add Printers Wizard, I get the error message: "Error Loading the TCP MID Library." Microsoft's Knowledge Base article 261302 addresses this error. However, the cause/solution offered did not apply to my machine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling TCP/IP with no success. My workstation is the only one of seven that has this problem.
The TCP/IP entries in the Registry may be damaged. To repair this problem, try using the command NETSH INT IP RESET RESETLOG.TXT. This will rebuild the TCP/IP stack more effectively than a reinstall will and should fix the problem.
