QUESTION POSED ON: 04 October 2006 I have backed up my existing NT4 DNS files and folder (c:winntsystem32dns) to a CD. Recently, I managed to configure a Windows 2003 DNS server. I tried to copy my previous NT4 DNS data into the new 2003 DNS server folder at 'c:winntsystem32DNS', but I noticed all my previous DNS names couldn't be resolved and it is not possible to copy in such a manner. Am I following the correct migration procedure?
