QUESTION POSED ON: 26 October 2003
How can I set a user/machine to always get the same port upon connecting to the Terminal Server? I have four sites that connect through Terminal Services. They all have different printers connected to their local machines, but when they connect, each time they get a different printer assigned to them in their session. Can I set them up to always use this port and this printer?

Make sure that you've chosen to have the users' defaults to the main client printer (on the Environment tab) and see if Knowledge Base article 317780, describing a scenario in which users may end up with each other's printers, seems to apply to you.
