QUESTION POSED ON: 19 January 2004
I have a customer that has VPN's to their home office and uses Terminal Services to run applications. They need to be able to print to a local NETWORK printer. I can, of course print to a local LPT1 printer, but can't find anything on printing to a network printer when in a session.

EXPERT RESPONSE
If the client computer has a connection to the printer from their local comptuer, that connection should map to the terminal session if printer mapping is enabled. I use these printer mappings myself, since my laptop does not have a locally connected printer, just the connection to the network printer.
