QUESTION POSED ON: 14 March 2004 I am looking towards obtaining the MCSE on Windows 2000. But, I'm having problems trying to decide among the elective exams because there are a lot of them! Any advice?

Let your subject matter interests help you pick a good elective. Thus, as you look over the requirements at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcse/requirements.asp, check the electives for the topics that interest you the most, that you know best or that are most germane to your needs at work. I'd also suggest staying away from all exams numbered 70-0xx, because most of them can't remain current for too much longer; you're really best off sticking to the exams numbered 70-2xx, in my honest opinion.
