How can we roll out Microsoft security patches to all our clients using Group Policy? We currently use Win2k3 Active Directory Server with Win2k Pro workstaions

If patches came as MSI files, this would be a no brainer. But they don't. They come in a variety of formats. I'm sure you're aware of SUS... but the Group Policy / SUS connection is limited. You can only specify which sever specific clients should use and not a whole lot else. If you really want to step up to a 3rd party patching solution via Group Policy, I suggest you take a look at Autoprof's Policy Maker Software Update. It's a robust mechanism for deploying patches via Group Policy.
