Quest Software Inc.'s Notes Migrator for SharePoint 5.0 tool analyzes and migrates Notes, QuickPlace and Domino.Doc application content to SharePoint.

With this product, admins can also extract QuickPlace and Domino.doc site hierarchies, use rules-based engine and/or override manually assigned target SharePoint sites, lists and libraries or content migration jobs. Additionally, Notes Migrator lets admins preview the migration plan in the context of an existing SharePoint infrastructure and centrally manage a migration plan, job execution and results.

New features included in Notes Migrator for SharePoint 5.0 allow admins to perform the following:
- Provision SharePoint sites, sub-sites and member lists.
- Provision lists and document libraries and store InfoPath forms in libraries.
- Perform content migration of rich text, embedded elements and special Notes constructs.
- Ensure that DocLinks continue working throughout the migration process.
- Set Site/List/Item permissions to reflect Notes security settings.
System requirements: Notes Data Extraction Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista or Windows 2008, Lotus Notes 5.04 client or higher (may connect to remote Notes 3.0 or higher servers on any platform). Conversion of native embedded images requires Notes 6.x or higher, .NET Framework 3.0. SharePoint Data Load: Windows 2003 or Windows 2008; Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or Office SharePoint Server 2007; .NET Framework 3.0 Administrator access on the SharePoint server, database and site collection. Console Microsoft Management Console (MMC) 3.0 and ReportViewer. It also uses a local Notes database as its repository in order to store data that is gathered through analysis and user input. The Setup wizard that runs after the Console is installed creates this database for you.
