GPExpert Troubleshooting Pak 1.0 has the following new features:
The GPExpert Health Reporter 1.5 collects information from a variety of sources on a target Windows system and presents it in a format that gives Windows managers an overall health status. Any problems are highlighted and clickable for more information. Results can be output to a printer, PDF or Microsoft Excel.
The GPExpert Log Analyzer 1.0 lets Windows managers drill into problems to help find their origins. It shows Group Policy-related logging in a format that shows the location of Group Policy processing problems. The tool supports diagnostic tests that verify the health of the Group Policy infrastructure for a given client and provides tips that help track down the source of Group Policy problems.
The GPExpert Group Policy Spy 1.0 is a GUI utility that watches registry policy activity in real time to help pinpoint where a policy setting may be conflicting with a desktop or application environment. It also maps individual registry activity to the exact policy in the administrative templates namespace that may be causing the conflict.
The GPExpert Status Monitor 1.0 is a desktop system tray utility that resides on users' desktops. It gives users and help desk administrators a visual of whether Group Policy is functioning correctly and can optionally report on Group Policy processing times to the system tray notification area and the workstation's application event log.
System requirements: Microsoft Windows Vista, XP and Windows Server 2003 systems, .Net Framework 2.0 and the Microsoft Group Policy Management Console.
Pricing: Starts at $1,000 for up to 200 managed systems. Volume pricing is available.
