SteelEye Technology Inc. gave DataKeeper for Windows real-time, block-level data replication to ensure that regardless of the data type, replication is efficient and not burdensome to system resources. Its synchronous and asynchronous replication feature not only provides systems administrators with more data protection and application performance options, but it also helps ensure that servers are in full sync at all times. This eliminates issues with in-use files, locked files, NTFS permissions and missing files.
Its Cluster Edition allows administrators to build "shared-nothing" and geographically dispersed Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V clusters to protect against both planned and unplanned downtime of servers and storage arrays.
