The service pack includes support for the Vista desktop operating system due out later this month. It features Data Mining Add-ins for Office 2007, which allows the use of data mining functionality from SQL Server Analysis Service with Excel 2007 and Visio 2007. There is also Oracle support in SQL Server Report Builder, so database administrators can use Report Builder on top of Oracle data sources.

The service pack is due out in the first quarter of 2007.
