Planning to install Windows 7 or upgrade to Exchange 2010?
Microsoft Services, the consulting and enterprise support division of Microsoft, now has four service offerings for IT shops that are upgrading to new versions of its desktop and messaging software. There are four offerings surrounding Windows 7, including desktop planning and deployment, desktop application compatibility, desktop image engineering and desktop deployment jumpstart. Services for Exchange 2010 include planning, risk assessment, and architecture and design tools.
The Microsoft Services offerings are custom priced based on the size and scope of the project and the environment, but pricing generally begins in the tens of thousands of dollars, a Microsoft representative said.
