Marilyn Cohodas

If you're among the still-substantial number of enterprises that have yet to move off Microsoft's earlier-generation desktop operating systems (or even if you are not), you'll want to tap into the brain-power of Roberta Bragg, Jerry Honeycutt, Serdar Yegulalp and Jeremy Moskowitz. The four will drill down to the darkest recesses of XP, examining the OS in eight separate presentations on issues ranging from security, to management to enhancing user productivity.

The series premiered in January and will continue through May. The speaker, topics and future debut dates are:

  • Serdar Yegulalp:
  • Harnessing the power of power users and Optimizing user productivity with XP and Office XP (March 27).
  • Jeremy Moskowitz: Managing the desktop and Remote management capability in XP (April 8).
  • Roberta Bragg: Secrets of desktop security (Feb. 27) and Managing your road warriors (May 1).
  • Jerry Honeycutt: Desktop deployment issues and migration strategies (March 18) and Customizing Office for your enterprise (May 15).
  • The 60-minute presentations will focus on new features on the Microsoft desktop that network administrators can use to improve reliability, beef up security and boost performance across the enterprise.
