Forensit's User Profile Wizard v2.0.1039 is a tool that takes the idea of roaming profiles to a new level by allowing different Windows user accounts to share the same user profile on any Windows workstation. On the strength of that feature, the product was given a Silver Award for enterprise desktop administration.

Judges noted that User Profile Wizard is particularly useful for companies that use hoteling or don't have assigned workplace seating. It also comes in handy when migrating a workstation to a new Windows domain without interrupting user access to existing documents and settings. Another feature that gained the notice of judges is its ability to allow the sharing of profiles across multiple accounts and the recovery of profiles of deleted users.

The main difference between version 2 and version 2.0.1039 is that the latter has full Windows XP support. This prevents snags when working in heterogeneous environments.

User Profile Wizard v2.0.1039 also earned its Silver designation with strong scores for ease of integration, ease of use, performance and command-line functionality that lets the application run from either a script or batch file.
