Microsoft beefs up security e-learning with free labs, clinics

Microsoft is adding free online Windows security clinics and hands-on labs to its new program of Windows Server 2003 e-learning courses. The new online security e-learning program focuses on specific security skills and problem-solving techniques "by doing" through labs and clinics.

Because the content and coverage is similar to the other courses for which Microsoft currently charges $349, this is a great way to try out Microsoft online learning at an unbeatable price. Once you sign up, you get six months of access to the materials, so you don't need to jump on the offer right away. It's simply too good a deal to pass up, even if you're not focused on security issues per se right now.
