Avoid Win2k buffer overruns when burning CDs

If you have trouble with buffer overruns when burning CDs:

  • Start the Task Manager and go to the Processes tab.
  • Find your CD burning program and right click on it.
  • Choose Set Priority and change it to High.
  • Don't set it to Realtime as this can cause your system to become unstable.
  • Also, disable your virus scanning program as it can cause problems with some burner applications.
